About the Canon EOS R5
The Canon EOS R5 is the camera that just might make you switch to Canon mirrorless. The R5 is everything we’ve been asking for in a camera from Canon… and more.
Like all of the other mirrorless EOS camers from Canon, the EOS R5 has an electronic viewfinder, small frame, and… dual card slots. One being UHS-II SD slot and the other a Type-B CF Express slot. Time to start buying CF Express cards!
In addition to being a mirrorless camera, you’ll have amazing performance from this little mirrorless camera. The Canon EOS R has one of the best auto-focus detection systems out of any Canon camera ever released. To top it off, throw on an RF mount lens like the Canon RF 15-35 or the Canon RF 70-200 and you’ll be blown away with the performance.
Something else worth mentioning is that the Canon LP-E6 battery is being carried over to the EOS lineup. The latest battery is listed as a Canon LP-E6NH. Its just a more advanced battery than what we previously had from Canon.
Last thing worth mentioning is that the Canon EOS R5 will accept EF mount lenses with the use of the Canon EF to RF mount adapter.
