The Canon 85mm F/1.4L IS USM lens is the newest and probably most awesome 85mm lens on the planet. Of course you’re going to have some people who moan that it isn’t F/1.2 but seriously, 1.2 to 1.4 and then throwing on IS… there is zero to complain about. The Canon 85mm F/1.2 II was terribly slow at auto focusing. Sure it’s fantastic for portraits but the Canon 85mm F/1.4L IS is the change we wanted, we need, we got!
