The Nikon 24-70mm F/2.8E is Nikon’s answer to the Nikon 24-70 G. With a fast fixed aperture of f/2.8 across a 24–70mm zoom range, this lens provides both fine resolution and natural representation. The Nikon 24-70 lens has a Nano Crystal Coat just as the last version, this helps effectively reduce ghost and flare effects under harsh lighting for greater image clarity. One of the most notable things you will notice is that this lens is bigger than the previous 24-70G. This lens also get the much requested vibration reduction (VR).
The Nikon 24-70 F/2.8E is a great upgrade from the 24-70 F/2.8G and definitely gives you those added features a lot of people have been requesting. Compared to the previous verion as well as the Sigma 24-70 F/2.8 this lens is well balanced, extremely sharp, but slightly heavier than the previous version. No matter which 24-70 F/2.8 lens you choose, you’re going to be happy however this is definitely the best of the bunch and well worth trying.
